Here you will find some great and friendly ham's, many who love our Lord and you are sure to feel the warmth of Jesus here.
All are welcome and please check in with us for some rag chewing, signal reports, humor, testimonies and whatever you might want to share. Don't be bashful, because again, all are welcome.
The 7240 club meets Monday through Saturday on the 40 meter amateur band at 7.240 MHz.
Times are 10:00 AM - 11 AM Monday thru Saturday Eastern.
If you can not find the net look for us up or down on the band most likely at +/- 3Khz.
We hope you can stop by and say hello.
If you are a SWL. we have a short wave listeners certificate if interested.
We also have a net remote station. If you are having trouble
hearing some of the net. we suggest using our net remote. Just call Matthew KJ4TN at 205-624-4594 for additional information.

I am Darlene in Waynesville NC, the Blue Ridge Mountains. I started with the hobby after my husband said, we need to get a ham radio. That was a hint. I looked into it early January 2024 and by February I had my General ticket. I searched out Christian nets right away and was blessed to find the 7240 and 7280 Nets!! I joined the Alaska VEC team after passing my Extra on June 1st. I thoroughly enjoy helping others get started and I am still new to the hobby and am hoping to learn more and I do every day!!!

A PRAYER FOR MY CHRISTIAN BORTHERS
My Radio Brothers While I was tuning around on the radio one day I found folks Bible talking - Chapter & Verse. Each took their own turn in something to say. In manner you could tell they didn't rehearse! Heard them tell about their love for God's Word. How it had changed their own life in some way. I just sat there and listened in on their frequency. Then I was moved to tears when I heard one pray! How sweet it is to know such men as these exist. Made me want to shout in an heavenly praise. Showing that old Devil my feeling in clenched fist. Reminding him that God has numbered his days. Then came that one day I threw out my own call. A man named Steve responded that he had received. And that's the day I shall always earnestly recall. The day I was accepted by others who believed! There's no other place I'd rather be each week. Than with my radio brothers who came to be known As Ambassadors For Christ who diligently seek In letting their light for Lord Jesus be shown! It's been over a month now since I first checked in. Not a day goes by until I stop to voice a prayer. I thank God for every one of my radio brothers. Still blessing the day I first heard them On Air!
